Arezou Rezvani

Arezou graduated as a nurse in 1995 and pursued a postgraduate diploma in midwifery. Since 1997, she has dedicated her career to midwifery, working across various maternity settings, including the private sector. For the past six years, Arezou has been in a consultant midwife role, where she advocates passionately for women’s and birthing people’s autonomy and choices in care.
Arezou is deeply involved in both national and local initiatives in maternity transformation, bringing the latest evidence into practice to influence and improve care standards.
In addition to her clinical role, Arezou is dedicated to educating and training fellow midwives, equipping them with evidence-based practices to support and advocate effectively for the people they care for. She is currently exploring research in women’s pelvic floor health through her PhD studies, aiming to contribute valuable insights to this important field.
